All Insuman insulins are r-DNA/GE/GM human insulin. They are made by Aventis, and compete with the short-acting, intermediate-acting and mixed insulins of Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk.

Short-acting:

• Insuman Rapid (R/neutral)

Intermediate-acting:

• Insuman Basal NPH/isophane

Intermediate-acting Mixed:

• Insuman Comb 15 (15% R/neutral, 85% NPH/isophane)
• Insuman Comb 25 (25% R/neutral, 75% NPH/isophane)
• Insuman Comb 30 (30% R/neutral, 70% NPH/isophane)
• Insuman Comb 50 (50% R/neutral, 50% NPH/isophane)
